Dandor Estate Winery is Niagara-on-the-Lake’s newest winery, founded by Lilia and Alexei Bodistean. Their roots in Moldova, home to the largest and most storied wine cellars in the world, planted the seed of a dream, as for generations, their grandparents and parents nurtured vineyards with care, transforming grapes into wine as an expression of family, culture, and pride.

Our single vineyard estate bottled wines are handcrafted in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada home to some of the richest soils and special climactic conditions. The winery’s single-vineyard, VQA estate-bottled wines reflect time-honoured traditions passed down through owner Alexei Bodistean, brought to life by winemaker Adam Kern using modern winemaking techniques. Together, their wines tell a story of connection — between generations, continents, and cultures — always with a glass raised to family, heritage, and new beginnings.
Dandor Estate Winery is located in the heart of Niagara Wine Country on a picturesque 25-acre, century-old farm, where vineyards, orchards, and historic agricultural buildings tell the story of the land. As stewards of this property in Niagara-on-the-Lake, our family is carefully restoring the original barns and structures, preserving their character while reimagining them as part of our estate winery experience. This thoughtful restoration reflects our commitment to craftsmanship, heritage, and respect for the farm’s history.
